This is the original Apple Cinema Display. It was introduced at Seybold 1999 alongside the new Power Mac G4 as its ‘ultimate companion’. It was hailed as the largest flat-panel LCD computer display ever brought to market - almost all computer displays were still CRT-based at the time. Its innovative design and cutting-edge technology were reflected in the price, which at launch was a whopping $3,999. This was reduced to $2,999 for the later ADC model introduced in 2000.
